How to choose the right class!

Whether you are looking to become a custom woodworker or just interested in a fun hobby, we offer classes to meet your needs. In our beginner classes, we build a simple yet one-of-a-kind piece of furniture! No bird houses here… : )

Our Denver Beginner Woodworking classes are meant for the true beginner or students wanting to brush on the basics. The skills you learn in this beginner class will be highly useful for all your future woodworking project. You will learn to safely use the table saw, jointer, planer, router, miter saw and more. We begin with picking lumber and take you all the way to a completed table or bookcase. All students will leave class with a completed small side table (15 X15X24) or small bookshelf (24 X48X8). Beginner classes are offered once per month on a weekend and rotate between the table and bookcase class. You can see our current schedule on the home page via google calendar or give me a call/text at 303-902-8856.

If you have some experience and would like to add to your skill set or just need access to tools and a place to work, then Intermediate/Project Woodworking classes might be for you. These classes are very customized to you needs. We keep classes small with instructors to help guide you to completion. Some students know exactly what they want to build or we have projects you can choose to increase your skill level.

Intermediate classes are offered once or twice per week depending on enrollment. The classes run from 6-9 and you have total access to the shop.

Finally, it’s important to find instructors with your needs in mind. Safety is the upmost importance in the shop and we have an impeccable safety record. Dylan, Adriane and Tracy all have a great ability to connect and bring out the best in their students. Instructor Tracy Gray has over 15 years of experience not only teaching woodworking classes but also as a Custom Woodworker, allowing her to combine her skills to give you the best experience you could possibly have as a first-time or returning student. You can find real reviews of Tracy and her class here!
